Belly of my baby snow..

shootist Sep 24, 2004 05:03 PM

every few inches there is a dark spot on her belly. i was wondering, are these organs? non-digested food? he/she has not been eating for 2 weeks now, although he ate half of a brained pinky when i put him in a brown bag overnight. ill get a pic in about a week or so, but by then it will be 3 weeks, which i would think is worry time :/

it is pretty neat to be able to see through their skin, isn't it? Her skin will thicken up as she gets older, so enjoy the view now.

I hatched some snows this summer and saw the same thing...If you get them to calm down and hold them near a light (watch for heat from the light aggetating the hatchling), you can see the heart beat!!
