She was referring to parasites, but worms! Sometimes collareds will become lethargic, have lose of appetite, be extremely thin, and it will be worms.
You can have a fecal done by your Vet, he will check his feces to see if worms/ eggs are present.
I use Parazap, as a preventative for all my lizards. They are all treated on a routine basis, so I have thank goodness not, had any major problems.
Used right it is very helpful, I like it.
Your guy may just be slowing down, getting ready for the colder months. I have One guy who is picking here and there, but not really eating well either.

typing a message when i am tired. sorry to confuse you! i was refering to internal parasites. i think i used the term bugs.
but just for future reference mites usually accumulate in areas that are not exposed as much, folds of skin, armpits, ears. when i bought walter segundo he had one in his ear and it was red.
