I am relaively new to the bull snake world and do not know what is common and what is rare among the bull snakes in terms of patterns or colors. I recently bought a pair of baby bullsnakes from my local pet store who hatched them from a gravid female that they recieved as part of their inventory. I know that the common pattern for bulls is blotched pattern but the female that i bought is mostly striped and is only blotched towards the tail. The male I bought is not the typical yellow/tan, but rather a pastel color. Like a pinkish or a light orange. I cannot find my digital camera or i would post pics. The other problem is that the pastel bull managed to somehow escape and I have no idea where he is. Fearing that he went down the heating duct. If anyone knows a good way to find him let me know.
