unusual tegu?

Hi all!I Caught my 4 month old bw tegu eating cricket feed tonight.I'm new to tegus and was just wondering if it was harmful or anything?Also after I took that from him he ate bannana that I offered him.Is any of this normal?Please help,thank you.

i am new to tegus myself, but from the research i did before i bought mine (which i think everyone should do before buying any pet)them eating fruit is a good thing when giving them a varied diet. mine love pinkies, crickets, grasshoppers.at the minute they wont take fruit but they are only young and we is getting used to each other. good look with your tegus.

cricket feed thing not sure about.

yeah pretty usual, my tegu eats bananna apples canalope etc.. i offer it once ever two or three weeks.
