They are the only ones that appear to be genetic not just a product of years of selective breeding that may or may not pass the trait on to its offspring. plus in my opinion they are alot cleaner and have amazingly red tails jmho

Visit the new website while the Jungle gets made over.
I also agree that the Davey Pastels are the best out there. Here are some pix of 2 of mine to show off their tails and clean patterns.

Sorry the pix aren't any better.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. I agree that my pastels are nice, but I am not sure they are what Matt is looking for in a pastel. If he is looking for high pink or orange, then he isn't going to find it here. I would suggest Pastel dreams if a high color animal is desired.
On the other hand, If he is looking for an ultra light animal that doesnt darken with age, is super reduced black, and has a screaming tail, mine might be for him. A lot of people don't even consider mine pastels due to the lack of pinks. Mine are either yellow, or a faint steel blue in color, with little to no black in the side medallions , and minimal black in the sides of the tail.
Unfortunately (if that peaks your interest)we are sold out for the season. I have animals breeding now though, so I should have some available this season, but all from this past season are either sold, or being held back, except for one that is still being held for Linda.
I would suggest looking into coldjoe's boas.
His are pastel dreams, but what he has done with the color in them is awesome.

yeah, I was interested in your boas, but that whole supply and demand thing got it before me. How do I reach ColdJoe? Thanks,
-Matt
Honestly, I have never talked to Cold Joe myself, and don't have contact info for him. I was linked to some pictures of his this spring by someone who suggested that I work on breeding his into my line. I would have bought some myself, but I don't think I want to add the color. What makes mine special is the lack of color.
I may be wrong, but I think he posts as coldjoe on the boa think tank. Good luck , and I hope you find what you are looking for.

...because if he has any available, your search for screamin pastels will be over.

He has two for sell on another site. They are two of the best I have ever seen.
He has one at another site lol. I've had my eye on them all week and after reading your comment that was the final thing I needed to push me over the edge and use the "buy it now" feature. I hope it looks as nice in person as the pic.
I think you made a great choice. I know you will love her.I have had my eye on them all week as well, just not sure which direction I am going with boas right now.

Thanks for the reassurance Davey. Just when I think I've found a definite direction the course changes LOL. Seems I just can't pass up a beautiful boa and there's always room for another long term project. It was all I could do not to pick up both of them and keep my finger off the trigger, um mouse! Say hello to my buddy Shane for me. You, Randy, and Shane all have super nice animals going on.
