ok wellhow do you breed feeders? Is it messy also how long does it take from birth to a ten pund burmese python snack> And 1 more thing what type of rabbit do u breed? Thanks a lot,

When I have raised rabbits it was for the human food, not as feeders, but the theory is the same. I would recommend a web search on raising meat rabbits. There are all sorts of rabbit meat breeds. Find one that is one you can get in your area. Rabbits take ROOM. But the advantage might be that they also can live outside in many climates. I wasn't raising them to get that big so you will want to look at the meat sites and see what they say.

California is a large breed of meat rabbit. I think they get up to 15 lbs. It might be a breed to cosider if their in your area. They do take up alot of space and cageing large rabbits isn't cheap. I've never bred that breed but i did deal with netherland dwarfs , Rexs , french and mini lops and angoras. They were show rabbits so i didn't mass produce them. I do remeber haveing to keep the male and females seperated to keep from stressing the female out. When we did breed them we had a 20ft by 20 ft fence in the back yard for there exercise and breeding. Thats where we put them so the female could get away when she wanted. hope this helps Paul
