Gravid leo? Question

Aeromeggy Sep 25, 2004 07:43 AM

My new patternless leo appears to be gravid. I got her at a reptile show last week, so I am unsure if she was with a male (she isn't now). Is it possible for leos to lay eggs without being with a male like bearded dragons?

Yes it is possible.

Very possible. She could've been with a male before you bought her so the eggs could be fertile. If you would like to incubate them and see, there are alot of sites that tell you how to make an incuabtor. Good luck!

I have an incubator already. When she lays I will try incubating them and see what happens. Thanks.

I have the same question. When I got my leo she had a roomate in the cage she was in at the petstore. So after a couple days I put her in with my brothers male leo geck and she laid eggs that were infertile. She hasn't done that yet this year so I'm wondering if she is ok or not.

My concern is that she will become egg bound and die from not laying eggs.
