Do I have a dumb dragon?

tkatchev69 Sep 25, 2004 12:38 PM

Ok, I am wondering if I have a dumb dragon. He loves to jump and play in the water. Then he defecates, and it floats to the surface. Then, before I could even have a chance to remove it, he swims after it and eats it! Is this a normal thing, or perhaps a phase? Neither of my dragons are hurting for food, and he's the larger of the two. Does anyone have thoughts? Thanks.
Dan

Does no one else have this problem?

That is normal dragon behavior, they usually do it if they are missing nutrients in their diet.

Also, to maintain their stomach flora, give him some natural yogurt with active cultures and I bet it stops.

wow i've never heard of anyone doing this, is this something that should be implemented into the diet or an occasional supplement?

ocassional suppliment. Also there are comercially probiotics available that do the same thing. Having proper microflora, will help with digestion, prevent illness, and increase the growth rate. It's one of the old tricks in the book, really.
