I had a package sent from FL to my house, and DHL lost my package. I paid for overnight arrival and that was 3 days ago. It is now saturday and they wont be able to find it until monday. I have a written agreement that the shipper would guarantee live arrival.. Is he responsible for paying me back if the animals do not get here alive? Also, what does DHL owe me? Like I said, I paid for overnight shipping and it won't come for 4 buisness days, plus saturday and sunday. PLEASE HELP. Thanks! -Will

DHL will not owe you anything since they do not knowingly ship live reptiles. It is between you and the seller. You'll have to carefully read over the agreement / guarantee you received from the seller to determine if you'll be getting a refund, credit, or replacement.

Actually DHL DOES ship live tortoises, but they make you sign a release that they're not liable if anything happens to it, so either way they wouldn't owe you anything.
