This forum moves so fast that it is easy to get "lost" quickly.
Something that would be helpful is to tell us other info about your setup including: lighting (type (UVB, basking), hours on and brand) temps, humidity, gutload for feeders, supplementation - what and how often, size of cage, etc.
If he has shed then he is growing. As for food you should try and vary it rather then only crickets. Would you want PB&J everyday for every meal?
Try some superworms, silkworms, cockroaches, if you are so inclined, waxworms.
he may not be hissing at the food, but maybe at you if you are trying to hand feed. Does he cup feed?
You get the idea, tell us as much as you can and we'll see if we can help. A photo is always nice, too

He
has a 3x3x2 cage that he's in now. He ha a uv bulb running down the side of the cage so it covers the whole thing, he has a baskin bulb that stays at 90-95 degrees. The uv bulb is a repti-glo 8.0 and the basking is just a regular clear house bulb. The humididty is 65-70%. The feeders are fed apples, greens, carrots, and some kale. He gets rep-cal calcium 6 days a week, and rep-cal multivitamins 1 day a week. I just ordered some silkys for him, but I'm afraid to feed the roaches as m colony isn' huge yet. And I don't think I've ever seen a superworm small enough for him to eat. I feed him in a smaller cageso he doesn't have to travel as much to find his crix.(they are free roaming in the smaller cage. oh and I have a big shefflera in his cage, he gets dripping water all day long, and misted 5x a day.
