I have a heated reptile room in my basement and the snakes are kept in aquariums and rack systems. Im going to phaze out the aquariums eventually though and go with all racks.

Thanks for the reply, The pic however did not show up. I would love to see your setup. Do you have the pic in a Kingsnake photo gallery. I have not had a chance to get the pics tanken of the siblings of the Northern Florida kings we got from Jason but the male is outgrowing the female a great deal. They are on the same feeding schedule so it seems strange to me.

Thanks,
Miller

I never posted a pic but I will take one and post it of my snake room. Male get bigger than females as far as Getula are concerned. The male I have from Jason is larger as well. Now if you are talking Boids females get bigger overall.

...yea I have owned Burm's and Boa's before. I jut thought it was strange that the male is so much more bulky than the female, thanks for the clarification on that. I am considering using what was going to be my second mouse rack system as a snake rack system. I have not really gotten a grasp on how to heat it. I have read some post on heating a rack system but I still am a bit confused. Also, I would love to have some type of mesh type covering and not a hard plastic convering for the snakes rack system. What are you using.

Sorry if this post is becoming a habitat design question but I wanted to know what you were doing specifically.

Thanks,
Miller
