Bad pic... But can anyone help my cousin identify this turtle found in Arkansaw

Buddy25 Sep 25, 2004 06:22 PM

Hey all,
I am, and my cousin as well are Canadian but my cousin recieved a golf scholarship in Arkansaw,USA.

Well, the dorm isn't allowed any pets, but well they bought a gerbil anyways, and her friend caught a turtle(DOH, believe me I'm totally against this. But they've had this turtle for probably near a year, and it wouldn't be the best idea for them to release it.

I was wondering if anyone could identify this poor quality turtle pic for me. And if you know the species, can you by chace lead me to a good link of detailed care of the species?

Thank you for your time,
Steven

Maybe a wood turtle, do you have more pics? What does the bottom of the shell look like?
