Hey Jason
Here is mine. It's an albino patternless bull definite het for white-sided. She's the most active, feistiest, fastest, and most vocal of my bullsnakes. She's a little she-devil to be exact and I love it! Hope she calms down a little when she matures though. I also got her from Josh this year. I'll give thumbs up to Josh for being a great buyer (Stillwaters) and a great seller (Albino speckled/Kingsvilles). I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again.

Very nice Albino you have there .They are very sharp looking . I wanted get some of those but could find enough funds with all the other stuff I got from Josh .
Hey Jonel I check out your website a couple weeks , its very cool and is top notch quaility . I enjoyed it very much and really like the pics and info .
take care
Jason
Hey Jason
Well we have Josh to thank for these and I'm very happy to have her in my collection. Im planning to pair her up with some speckled morphs(hopefully a white-sided speckled het albino from you know who!) and to my Hypo Stillwater/kingsville red bull I got from Shannon this year. I really want to see how intense the colors would be if you mix in the red bull line in and also how a hypo speckled bull(Stillwater line) would look. And oh! A red speckled bull too...........man! Just too many possibilities!
Thanks for the nice words about my site. I really try to make a site that I would like everyone to enjoy and I'm happy that you did. I've created some sites for some of my herper friends and I'm trying to set-up a little "something-something" to help others to have one also. I really enjoy the creative part of it. Thanks and talk to you soon!
ps. here's a pic of one of my local pituophis. Very gentle and almost cornsnake like even though it's a wild animal. Enjoy.

Those are nice! When you breed them together, will you still get patternless? I ask because they are of different colors.
Thanks Jason
One is a Axanthic and the other is a Normal color .
Well they both are 66% poss het for Albino and Whitesided . So I think I will get all patternless but there could be some that are Albinos and Whitesided . Not sure what a Patternless Whiteside would look like or if you could even tell.
Jason
Basically I was wondering if they were of the same gene or if you were going to get double hets, since they looked so different.
Are you going to get a booth at narbc anaheim next year? Id love to see (and buy) your animals at the next show.
Hey Metalpest do you care share your name . I was just wondering because you never sign off with yor name . Just curious
Thanks for the Kind words
I'm planning on getting Booth in Anaheim next year , window was pretty small this year and I was to busy to make any ways , but me and the family are planning on it . I heard it was great show.
Jason
Ive never really thought about leaving my name, its Nick.
Im so glad to hear that you will be there next year. The show was great, and there were a lot of pits for the area. I have only seen a few pits until this show. They didnt have the extraordinary animals that you have though. I hope a lot of the eastern vendors will return along with some new ones. We really need a nice big show like this on the west coast, like our own little daytona. From what I heard, people did pretty good at this show, and it was only the first. I cant wait to see your animals in person, which is also how I prefer to buy. The funny thing is, I have never seen northern pines at a show in California, so I made the decision to purchase over the internet. That was late June, and at this show there were several breeders with northern pines. There were even albinos, which I dont see very often even on the net.
Anyway, those are some nice bulls you have there, I think I may want their offspring in the future.
HI Nick
Good to know your name . It will be cool to meet you and some of the other guys I havn't meet yet .It would be fun to get all the pit guys together and talk about PITS !
I have done a couple San Diego shows and they where great.
Thanks for the kind words
Take care
jason
You mean I missed you at san diego! Ive only been to two, apparantly the wrong ones. I didnt see you or cherry, he said he went to some in the past as well. I went to one a few years ago (3 or 4) and the one that recently past. I wont be at the next one though, or any others. Its just too far and becoming too small. It was great a few years ago but this year it seemed small, I though I just didnt remember properly. Now I hear from everyone that that show is getting smaller and smaller, so Ill just go to the narbc show one a year and the few small local shows just because they are worth the trip when they arent too far. San Deigo is about 4 hours from me. Too bad you werent there this year, I cant wait to see your animals in person!
I'm kind hit mis at that show . I had a booth in oct 2002 and oct 2000 and I was just shopping and hang'in out in 97, 98 .
Its 12 hour drive to San Diego for me , so it really hard to make it , but I do now and then .Anahiem will be a little easier to make it.
Jason
I want to say I was there oct 2000. Maybe 2001, Im not totally sure. I dont think San Deigo will be worth it anymore, especially with the new Anaheim show. Did you do well at the San Diego show? Just wondering because you did return and all, despite the drive. The hotels are also expensive. Do the shows do anything special for you like bring you lunch or have a vendor-only dinner or anything, or do you get a booth only?
I 2000 we did OK but it cost me more then I made and I didn't buy any thing .
2002 we kicked but we made double then secound best show . Your right it cost alot , Gas , food , Hotels but we made a good vaction out of it and that what the family planns to do again .
I here some shows will buy lunch and dinner for the vendors but I never have receiver that kind of treatment.
I think Anahiem is going to crush the competition after hearing all the good things about Anahiem
Jason
Now, I plan to become a vendor one day, so you say you dont always make a profit? Id like to come out of the show on top. Do you normally sell out, or do you have a lot left over?
Also, Im confused about the hobby. It seems to me that everyone buys pairs with the intention of breeding them, wouldnt this produce a huge excess of animals? I mean, if you get 8 babies and sell to 4 people with the intention of breeding, then there are suddenly four more breeders in a few years, producing more offspring. It seems that it would get difficult to sell with so mnany people doing it. Are there a lot of collectors that dont breed their animals? Do people breed and keep the offspring? It just seems to me that there should be a huge excess of animals with everyone taking on breeding projects. Also, how well do your top dollar snakes sell at the shows? If only I had the money available I would have gone wild at the show to pick up my future breeders for my business. Hopefully, Ill get it together by next show. I wish I had enough to sell next year! But, my babies arent old enough yet. I cannot wait to be behind a booth at an expo, its been a dream since I first went to IRBA a few years back.
OH yeah , I allways come home with stuff that didn't sell at shows .But certain thing do sell out .
I think there is a lot of people that dont breed and just have pets . But I have notice that certain species are becoming overly abundant in the pet trade .
I think the key to breeding snakes is do it for the hobby and love the animals and if you make a couple bucks to support your hobby, alls OK . It probley not fun if you do it for a job. I know I would not make it 2 weeks if I breed snake for a living
Jason
Well, Im talking about breeding as a hobby. I would like to make good money doing it though. I dont want a ton of snakes that didnt sell because everyone in the hobby is also breeding them. Well, we will find out in a few years when my babies make their first clutches.
Thanks Jason and Jonel for the very kind comments. Here's a photo of a pair of patternless white sided bulls. One appears as a patternless beige white sided, and the other as an patternless axanthic white sided. The patternless axanthic white sided has deep blue eyes. The patternless/speckled trait is simple recessive in inheritance.
Josh
Now your getting really deep in genetics . They are different looking .
They are killer . Do you have any other suprises ?
thanks for sharing
Jason
Hey Josh
If I remember correctly. Didn't Gary B call these guys broadbands or something? Both of them are very nice! I wonder how would the colors(or lack of it) turn out as they mature into big bullsnakes. Man! I want one next year! I want one next year! I want one next year! I want one next year! LOL. Thanks again for the nice animals. You're going to hear from me again(hope that's a good thing! hehe). Take care.
