Texas / Mexico Border Last night

A friend an I went out on a ranch about half way between Eagle pass and Laredo, Texas last night. As bright as the moon was, I didn't expect to find anything great but we did find a few out crawling around.
found this little emoryi crawling along a rock outcrop.

Next as I was walking down a dirt road, I see something moving in the sand. These are without a doubt IMO the hardest snakes in TX to shoot a decent picture of. Squirmy Suckers!

Lastly, shortly after finding the blind snake, my friend yells at me and say's here's one of those Mexican Black headed snakes you've been wanting to shoot. Unfortunately, I'm guessing from the location, it's a plains blackheaded snake - Tantilla nigriceps Any Tantilla experts out there that care to chime in?
