Aldabras at the zoo

jenkznza Sep 25, 2004 11:21 PM

I thought some may enjoy this. I was at a little zoo in Springfield Missouri today where low and behold they had an Aldabra exhibit. I spotted a large male with a little something on his mind. Luckily I had my digital camera on hand.

Needless to say this fellow let out a beller while about 30 parents were trying to explain to their young ones that the "turtles" were playing piggyback.

I do not intend to offend anyone this was just too funny. Pictures are linked bellow.

Is that typical for the males to be so much larger? or is she just a young one.. not old enough to rival his size
