help with my cwds

bathory Sep 26, 2004 07:12 AM

hi there, i'm moving house on friday and wonder what way is the best to move my two chinese water dragons.
we are moving about 50 miles and they will be in the back of my car. shall i keep them in the vivarium but remove all the enrichments so they dont get knocked about in transit?
i have been told to put them in a tupperware without airholes to keep them warm but i worry they will suffocate.
i also have a little canvas bag, i could put them in that. i dont know what to do. and what can i do to keep them warm and stress free?
heeeeeelp!

If they are healthy juveniles or adults, I would not worry about it too much. They will be ok in the bag as long as they don't get too hot or cold. They won't be in there for more than an hour or 2, would they?

There are water dragons, chameleons, frilled dragons, pythons, and monitors in my jungle room.

When transporting, I think that pillow cases are best. It keeps them from seeing something and freaking out and they can't charge into anything and bang up their snouts.
