wow, you must know a lot of really awesome people if you can place all those babies in homes where they will get the proper care, and msot importantly, space, that they need. But I still agree with the above, even if you can place the babies, there are still tons of unwanted turtles and turtles in bad homes that die needlessly each year, maybe you should advise the people you know who can provide a good home for a turtle to get one of those.
You can tell if eggs are fertile because generally infertile ones will turn yellow, deflate, start to smell, mold or all of the above after a little while if they are infertile. Reptiles magazine did an article about breeding RES earlier in the year, i looked everywhere buy couldnt find the issue
