I feel he is a pastel but without any background information on him I cant call him that without an argument breaking loose! An I dont need that! But he is being bred to 2 unrelated females right now as we speak so it will be very interesting to see what the babies look like! The lighting in this picture actually stunk bad an plus I am no photographer so that didnt help much either! But as you will notice he dont have mant speckles an even his side diamonds are filled with pink! Now he is I would say close to 16 onths old an still holding this high pink coloration!Question is say half of his babies come out as vibrant as he is how would one call this when no background info is known about him! Thanks for any an all info or opinions!

if you have no knowledge of the background on this animal and it produces something like you said from a known unrelated mate, I think you have the makings of your own bloodline providing, you keep it that way. I have done this with my Anerys. I got a male 12 years ago and he was bred to at the time a unknown het for anery. Chances of them being related 0. Keep it true. Ronne lines as an example.....slective breeding. It can go a long way.

here are some pics. all of these are littermates
this is a het for anery

this is another het for anery

and this is my "platinum blonde anery" and the second litermate from the pics.

Quite a contrast huh. The parents have produced consistate offspring but these are the most dramatic looking so far.

The normal anerys are sweet looking.
This pic is actually a het for anery.

like'em ???
