Cycling female in hot weather

creddylad Sep 26, 2004 07:38 PM

I have a young adult hi-yellow and I've just aquired a male for her. Want to start breeding but on a small scale. I have yet to cycle her, but the normal temps here are to hot and internal house temp(for expense reasons) is never below 85. Outside temps are still in the 105-110 range.
Should I wait till winter (temps in the hi 60's) and cycle her before putting them together? Or will they be ok in the same container till then. And do I need to seperate to cycle.

Actually you don't have to cycle them. If you really want to then I would wait until winter then breed them next breeding season. It's your opinion. Wait or breed now?
