well i finally got ahold of robert applegate and you were right, the "striped albino applegate gophers" aren't. I think the guy who sold them to me is in some deep doo-doo with Robert Applegate now tho. But my question is what do I call them now?

Well I not sure what to call them , The striping looks a Pacific Gopher . With out knowing if they are pure . I would just call the albino Striped Gophers .

I appreciate your honesty and I'm sorry that they aren't what you that you thought they where .We all have been took for some rides in this hobby so dont feel bad . I think your a good honest person.

Yea I guess I got taken. lol. The guy has been a friend of mine forever tho and he swore up and down that robert applegate gave them to him and they were good friends and yadda yadda. He even told me to contact him and ask him if i still didn't believe him!!! Guess his overconfidence made me feel that he couldn't be lying. Oh well. Buyer beware right? Well thanks anyway. Thats kinda what I figured I'd call them. Thanks again

Call them what they really are. Albino Striped Pacific Gophers. You will know I am right when they breed to a normal albino pacific gopher. The striping is dominant.
