Ok,ok I'm impatient lol... Can someone help me identify this turtle;

Buddy25 Sep 26, 2004 08:53 PM

I've asked in the photo album, and What species of turtle forum, but recieved no answers.

The little guy was found in Arkansaw approximately a year ago.

If you could help me identify this turt, it would greatly be appreciated, so I can get this little guy proper care.

This little guy was found by my cousins friend, who decided to keep it as a dorm pet.My cousin, and friend knows next to nothing on herp care.

Its been over a year and from what I know this little guys thriving.

I'll send over my cousin a caresheet of the species, as soon as I learn "the species of the turtle".

Thanks a million,
Steven

hard to tell but it kinda looks like a map turtle? but it's blury and hard to tell.

as a dorm pet, it's not the best. they'll need a good size tank, filters and all kinds of junk to live right.

Looks like a Map turtle to me, most likely a mississippi map. Check out some pics online to make sure cause that picture is a little blurry. There is a lot of information on how to care of these guys online.
