I went to a pet store "where the pets go" and they had 6 or 7 juv. russian tortoises in a 40-50 gallon tank and they were all not active and I took a look closer and see that alot of their eyes were crusted over and they had fluids coming from their mouths and noses.I talked with the manager and told her that they are sick with a respitory infection ,she ask me how could I tell and she blew me off with "I'll have someone look at them" even after I told her that if you get them to a vet they'll die.I thought that was very upsetting myself.Brandon

PLEASE go to http://www.planetfeedback.com - there you can send a letter directly to the CEO of the chain store. Please check the little box at the bottom that makes your complaint public - your private information can only be seen by the CEO, NOT the public. This has helped individual stores in the past to clean up thier act. For the animals, please take a couple of minutes to fill out the letter, and please ask this company to stop the sale of wild-caught tortoises.

Well this makes me feel better at least I can do something about them and not see them just die from lack of care.Thanks Brandon
