where can i get some heat tape..... would they have it at a local hardware store np

I really don't know where to get it besides "The Bean Farm" and other herp supply stores. It's illegal to sell here in Canada because it's not approved by the CSA (Canadian Standards Association). The reason that it is not aproved it that you have to wire it yourself...but if you wire it properly it's pretty safe.

I recently got some from Big Apple Herp Supply (based in NY) and was very pleased with their service. It only took a few days to arrive and everything I ordered was complete and well packed. And lets face it, making up heating pads from heat tape is way more economical than paying $20 for tiny heat pads you get at the pet store. I'm including a link to their website below.
