Yellowtail breeding project setback.....

oldherper Sep 27, 2004 11:50 AM

Hi Guys,

I had a little setback in my Yellowtail project. I lost my male to a mysterious infection that refused to respond to antibiotic treatment. Anyway, I have been unable to locate another adult male thus far. If anyone knows of anyone that has an adult male Yellowtail that they would be interested in either working out a breeding loan or sale, please email me. He needs to be a big one....my bigger female is an absolute monster.

Thanks,
Gerald

Thanks, Fred. Yeah, it is a bad turn of events. He was a really nice animal, and would have been big enough to breed my big female this year. It's the first snake I've lost in a while (quite a while, actually). Maybe I can come up with something before this season gets past me. If not, I'll just keep looking and miss a season. EB (my big female) isn't going anywhere...I just figured the sooner I found her a boyfriend the sooner she would quit trying to kill me.

Bobby has been working a lot and maintaining his new home.
He no longer has a great portion of his collection, as he is down to only a couple pairs of D. c corais now, but still has his Cyclura.
I am certain he will be posting again soon.
