This is a female Isla Marajo Rainbow Boa, Epicrates cenchria barbouri. I have two others which are dark but not as dark as this one. These snakes seem to require high humidity even more than BRBs.

Wow! That girl is spectacular....is she as big as she looks?
Did you produce any of these this year? Saw one of your babies over at K&K, very nice looking ECC....

Chris,
..She is a big heavy snake. The larger upright in the PIC is a 4x4 (finished size 3.625 x 3.625). She is only four years old and has not produced yet.

A very boldly marked snake. Pretty neat looking.
When I was first looking at getting another rainbow I wanted to get a Peruvian and East Bay Vivarium claimed to have one for 450.00. I went to look and that snake looked very much like your Isla Marajo. Do your Peruvians look like this also? If I recall from previous pictures you've posted of your Peruvians they looked more like BRB's than this Isla Marajo. Could you post a pic of one of your Peruvians for reference?
Paul
Paul,
..This is one of my larger adult female Peruvians. I did not post this PIC earlier because the PIC "does not do her justice" LOL. All of my Peruvians are much lighter than that Isla Marajo but they do have thicker and darker markings than most of my BRBs.
Jeff

wow I love it..i mean I really love those markings..sweet snake.
