My baby leopard gecko really likes crickets. I had him out on my bed and I tried to get him to eat a waxworm and he didn't want it and then he saw the little container I had the crickets in and went over to the side and started watching them. So I got him one out and held it in a pair of tweezers and he ate it right up. Boy is he fast, kinda startled me. Wish I would have got a picture of it, looked really cool. So I did it again and he ate another. So I dusted 4 more and put them in his cage and let him go back in there. Now he is just hanging out under a rock ledge I made and I have 4 crickets running around the cage in circles following each other, climbing in and out of his nonhumid hide and I am afraid he isn't gonna catch them or they are going to bite him when he sleeps.
Is it ok to pop off their back legs so they can't get around as much (the crickets not the gecko).
I also found out leopard geckos can climb down the side of your bed on the blanket.
