yet ANOTHER huricane! Disaster struck!

jovcham Sep 28, 2004 10:04 AM

Well again this weekend we got hit with the "3rd" huricane!!!!!!!!!!! so far I have been lucky and only had a bunch of broken tree limbs. Well this time I was not so lucky...THE WORST THING POSSIBLE HAPPENED! one of my cages fell over and right ontop of the ROACH bin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As you can guess the roach bin shattered! MY WORST FEAR! a couple thousand orange heads loose! I cautiously went outside with bug spray in hand, but to my suprise, almost all of them stayed inside the woodchips, I just grabed a shovel and piled them into a new bin! THANK GOD...I only had to kill about 20 or so.

poor you! I remember from the last hurricane you were worried more about the roaches than the chams! Well, them getting lose that is I assume the resident of the cage that fell is oK?

Well lucky for the chameleons the cage that fell was empty...so I did not bother securing it as well as I should have I guess.

im sure your neighibors would have been thrilled to find out that would have had a couple thousand roaches outside their house... at least no animals were hurt. how much longer is the hurricane season? good luck.
