Reputable place to buy NORMALS.

OK I got my fiance into BPs, he was scared of them, but the first time he saw mine he wanted to hold him. Once he held hom he started to hold him every time he came over. Well now that we live together, he decided he wants one of his own. So we got him one (just posted about "her" few posts down). I checked out the petstore a couple times and did a good check on "her" and "her" inclosure and all is good. "She" is still doing well and I have yet to see any signs of "her" being ill or any parisites.

Now here is where my question comes into play...My fiance already wants another one. I told him when we have had "her" a few months we might get another, but I don't want to have 2 in quarantine. I don't want to buy from any other pet store, and even though this pet store is a decent one, I don't want to keep buying from them (expecially since they don't have much to choose from).

I know all the reputable breeders, but none of them sell normals anymore. We might get into poss. hets or maybe even low prices 100%ers, but for now I just want some good looking healthy normals that I can choose from.

Anyone have any sugguestions or experiences with a certain place or person? Any help will be greately appreciated.

P.S. I have looked in the classifieds, but I still don't know who to trust. I got my first ever snake (a BP of course) from there and my "hatchling" was 2.5 feet, in shed (stuck all over), was developing upper respiratory problems, shipped in a box with NO insulation (besides a couple balled up pieces of paper), from Miami to Michigan in NOVEMBER, no heat, STAPLED in a heavy duty paper towl (which "she" got out of and was sitting in the bottom of the box). I don't want to do that again.

I got a nice normal from Alex Hue Reptiles. She came in a nice deli container, with heat packs and was inside a box that was in a box, to prevent as much trauma as possible. She arrived overnight, the day after I ordered her, and she was at my house by 8:30 AM (from Michigan to NY.)
I am not sure if he has any normal babies now, but if you are waiting anyway for a few months, you might just want to wait until next hatching season. He always has a bunch of captive born/bred hatchlings, as well as captive hatched, and they make sure they're feeding before putting them up for sale.
I had great experience with this company, and would highly recommend 'em.

I purchased several from Don Hamper this year.(.2-03's &.1-04)
They are really healthy eaters at a good price as well.

If you're dead-set on going to a big breeder most of them have young normals, they just don't advertise them. I'll bet if you call a few & ask you'll find some, though.

Thanks, I might try that, I forgot about pastel sibs and such. I am not dead set on a big guy though, just a trustworthy one LOL.

Everone who has posted or E-mailed me... Thanks! I have some leads now. Anymore will not be turned down though. Thanks again!

We bought our boy from Bob Clark. Bob's the man when it comes to pythons. He's responsible for many of the BP, and other python, morphs we see today including albinos and striped BP's.
