What kind of turtle is this?

trevorthebody Jun 27, 2003 08:14 AM

I feel kind of dumb asking this..since I have had two of them since I was 12 and I am now 23 years old, but I never really took interest in it and since I got them from a friend and not a pet store I never really knew the breed? I am sure they are very common but I am not sure..if you know for sure or have a idea I would really appreciate a reply, here is a image of one pic and the link is of another of same turtle, thanks for looking and if you can reply and tell me more info thanks again!

Trevor.

Red Eared Slider.

This is the most common aquatic turtle to keep as a pet. There is an entire forum here on Kingsnake just for this species of turtle.

That would be a red-Eared Slider. Usually very pretty turtles.
