cool pics, i've always liked[ ornates] niles but never owned one. Thinking about getting one or two, how are yours when it comes to temper? That's the only thing that keeps me from them. Other than that one of my favorates.

These are not ornates. I have both though and I don't really see alot of difference in temperment. I guess my niles do have more of a food drive then my ornates but thats about it.
When little they do nothing but bite me, then they go into the lets run stage. Once older they get over all of that and either trust you and accept you or tail whip you to get you out of the way.
The only time they jump to bite at me is if I am holding food in my hand, carrying the food bucket, or they are simply hungry and want me to know it is time to feed them. Otherwise they act like my other monitors. None of which will sit on my lap to watch TV.
