Is there any way of telling a snake is starting to hibernate, because my brown snake will be found curling up in a ball and i can flip it over and evuantually it will get moving but it takes a while? is it beginning to hibernate or is it dying?

What are the temps like? The cooler it is the more sluggish the snake will be.
Does it look thin / feel bony?
Is it still feeding?
