One of my phantasticus hatchlings has a sort of squared off tail. It kind of resembles the tail shape of a henkeli, fimbriatus, etc.. It is not kinked and has not been since hatching. Basically the last quarter of the tail seems as though it did not fully extended before further development took its place. Does this sound like a genetic mutation/deformity or a problem caused by a parasite, stress during incubation, etc.? It didn't hatch premature (94 days), but there were some days where the temp may have reached 76-78 F as opposed to 72-74. Four others incubated at this temperature hatched "flawless" and not one egg has died so far. Out of three babies from its mother, this is the only one that has this problem. Any info, opinions, etc. would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Ashton
