New to Virginia

Looking for some spots to do some herping. Been to First Landing state park which actually despite all the traffic has produced quite a few herps for me. I'm from chicago but moved to VA from indiana where i went to school, so this area is kind of new to me. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to Virginia,
I'm also from VA Beach, although currently I'm at school. Another good place fr herping is the Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge. You can't collect here, but it is good for observing herps, and examining them/photography. Adjacent to this park is the False Cape Wildlife refuge. You can't drive to False Cape, but you can walk or ride a bike. It has a lot of herps, and beautiful scenery. Good Luck!
