I have questions about the abronia lizards... is there any kind that could be poisonous? im trying to locate a particular kind in the centre of mexico. they call it "escorpion", and it's said that it has a sting in the end of its tail or something like that... is that possible??? thanx for reading =)

Abronia are not poisonous and certainly can't sting. From friends who have visited Mexico, I've gathered that poisonous properties are ascribed to many species of herps which are actually harmless.
