what you may want to also consider adding to that tank would be some wooden dowels. Go down to Home Depot and get some 1/2" wooden dowels, and some small zip ties. You can cut them, then attach the them to one side of the hinged screen top that you dont lift up very much, maybe the left side? you can still lift the whole lid out at one time if you need to and it will sit back down just as it was before. Then I got some silk leaves and hung those from the top and my black rat is so active he LOVES it! He'll crawl up the leaves, up to the doewls crawl all over it...as soon as i get my big cages built all my snakes will have this.
