I dont know of any breeders who'd give up a fertile male of any ssp. also dierecting you to someone who's looking to rid themselves of a turtle would be advertising.

Mary-Kate,
I know that you say "adult", but is there a specific size range you are looking for? I might be willing to sell "Fred" the male you commented on a few posts down.
You may email me at kelly.wood@frontiernet.net if intersted.

You can try a local rescue/herp society to see if any are available for adoption. Try www.anapsid.org to see if in is near you. Also try www.petfinder.com to search locally, nationally, or regionally.
Turtle Homes is another option for adoption.
These would be adults that have been pets but need relocating for one reason or another.
Any adult for sale would most likely be wild-caught, but check prices. Anything under $100 for an adult box turtle is suspect.
