new question on calif regulations for rosys

bluerosy Sep 29, 2004 12:33 PM

Okay I know you need a license and proof that the rosys are c/b. But what happens when someone that has a large collection out of state and wants to move to calif.
I moved from calif over 17 years ago with a large collection of rosys. Now I might be moving back. Most of the rosys I have I bred for several generations. What do I need to do to be legal in calif?

I think you need to send then to me for safe keeping. I'll hold onto your rubber boas, too. LOL!

Actually, you should get an answer from DFG. There seem to be conflicting opinions.

This is going to be in the gray area in the CA laws. When you find out, please post here. I'm sure that there must be a reasonable solution to your situation.

(Then again, I wonder. If I go out and catch 3 rosies while possessing a current CA fishing license, I am in violation. But, if I go out and run over for fun every snake I see, I can't get in trouble. Silly, silly laws.)
