Yes i had been researching them for awhile but instead got hooked on crested geckos. Now im getting bak into them and doing more research. They seem pretty easy to care for and pretty cheep too.
WTFs are very good pets. They are hardy and dont spaz out when you put your hand in the cage, and dont seem to mind being handled. I just give mine 4 small ctickets each every night (because there still growing; when they are adults, I will give them 5 every other night) and give them a good misting in the morning. They dont need any expensive misters or waterfalls, but they dont mind them ether. The only disadvantage I have noticed is (unlike my leopard gecko) mine poops wherever he pleases, not in one spot. lol. The other thing that I am noticing is mine is growing at a rapid rate, 0.5cm a week on average, so I know they will be huge. (males average 4in, females are slaightly larger, averageing at 5in) Overall, these are great pets, and I adore them all.
Basically if u want a pet to watch get wtf. Whites treefrogs can get harmful substances from human hands, even if u wash them. They also get stressed easily by handling them. If u want something to handle and bring out get a lizard like a beardie. Hope this helps u make the right choice.
