What TYPE of frogs to get?

Ryanca Sep 29, 2004 05:04 PM

I have recently made a false bottom enclosure and was going to try my hand at breeding some darts or terribilis. The enclosure is 18"dx30"wX13"h, has a waterfall and is planted. The temp ranges from 70-83'F and the humidity ranges from 70-100%. I have pictures but just know how to post them. I was wonder what species would do best in this enclosure? And how many of them?(ie 1.2 2.4) I would really like them to breed and be successful in producing. Any help, please post or email at RyansReptiles@yahoo.com

About 4 Phyllobates terribilis would give you a pretty good chance at getting at least one of an opposite sex for breeding. They do well in groups, as do Dendrobates leucomelas and D. galactonotus, and they would fit in your tank size.
