I finally got my rescued Burm. to eat. Thank you to all that posted suggestions. I found out that her last owner not only defrosted the rabbits (when she ocassionally fed her) but heated them up in the microwave for about five minutes prior to feeding. Why I have NO idea. I defrosted a colossal rat and then put in hot water for a couple secs. to get alittle heat and then put it in the cage... presto she ate, so I defrosted another one and she ate that. I also upped the temp in her cage for a week prior to feeding. Once again thanks to all who helped. Scott

Glad to see that she is finally eating for you, hopefully that doesn't change either, but it sounds like she will be having a good life now which is a good thing, some of our snakes are like that as well, they will either take a f/t prey item when its cold, or they like it to be heated up, maybe it just helps them to get a heat signature on it to eat, anyways good luck with her..
