when i got my GTP he had already taken 5 meals. after that he took 3 more for me. his last one was almost 4 weeks ago. i tryed today, and hes just not eating. he coiled up, and killed his pray, but never ate it. what should i do??? iv had a baby milk snake go 5 months with out eating, i dont want to even think about this snake goin more then one month. should i start worrying yet??

Have you tried bumping him with a hot pinky? (tease feeding). You may want to try chick down as well.

What is the age? Sex? Temps? Is it near a window with natural daylight cycle visible. Sometimes, even when artificial day/night cycles are supplied by our means, instinct will still kick in if they are exposed to a window or similar light. Maybe it just needs a break from feeding. Just wait until, if it ends up being a male, when it goes off feed for 6 months at a time. My first time was 7 months straight. No real need to worry. They eat when they want to.....even the young ones.

Double Check all your husbandry. Your gtp has been eating in your care. Chances are its fine and you are going to have to be patient. I would continue feeding attempts on the normal, weekly feeding days. He'll come around when "he" is ready. Relax, Clint
