Vacation Question...

funnyman527 Sep 29, 2004 08:14 PM

OK, here's the scoop-

I have two BD's (one 12 incher, and one 14 incher).
In a couple weeks i'm going on vacation for the weekend.
I was wondering, whether or not i should risk not feeding them for two days during this time?

** Take into consideration that they're in sepperate cages ( so no wry about toes and tail nips), and i'm going to load them up with lots of food the day i leave (probly up to the minute i leave)

Thx

Just for the weekend?

If there is nobody who can drop by to feed I'd do just what you plan to do and feed them extra well before leaving and leave a nice big plate of pellets and misted greens and veggie bits to munch on. Then feed them extra well Monday morning. If your lights are on a timer and they have some noshes, they should be fine for two days. Of course, they will convince you they were absolutely starved when you come home.

Best,
michele
