I'm sorry i dont have much info on them, but iguana sounds about right for you. ON the iguana forum you are sure to find someone with a free-roamer. The problem is, some don't tame as well as others and they get around 5 feet. Sorry! PHEve has a a a free-roaming collared lizard, Kong, but i dont know if he is housetrained or not. I hope others answer this post, as there are a TON of lizards out there, and i am just an amateur at this herping thing.

I think a Blue tongue skink fits all of those (maybe smaller than 3' though)

Handled daily they become real sweet. I love my girl.

Also there is bearded dragons, a bit smaller than you said.

water dragons, many different species, just go searching and read about species you like, see what suits you the best, and what you can best care for.

Some EXPERTS & ADVANCE HOBBYIST have succeded with black & white tegus. They dont get very tame, but that doesnt mean its impossible. They can do what tegus normally do, but with some interaction, they MAY tame to some degree. Whatever your choice is, lets hope 4 the best.
