Recent cherryhead hatchlings

mayday Sep 29, 2004 09:57 PM

Haven't posted any hatchling photos this year so I thought I'd do a couple.
These are a few from the past month or so. The middle one and the one on the right are clutchmates and hatched in-between the past two hurricanes.

This one has really numerous colored leg scales for a cherryhead. I have found that cherryheads (or S.E. Brazil refoots as they should be called)seem to have fewer colored scales than the northern populations.
