I bought some Virosan from Pro Exotics and it came in two small bottles of concentrate and a bottle to mix. Does anyone know the mixing procedures? Do I use one bottle of concentrate or both? What are the usage procedure as well, such as how much should I use? Thank you.

I mix by the gallon, then refill spray bottles as needed. It is recommended to use a 2.5% solution, so that is approx. 3 ounces of concentrate per gallon.

There are two types of usage, cleaning and disinfecting.

For cleaning, I spray entire surface with a mist, wait a few minutes then wipe dry.

For disinfecting it is recommended to wait ten minutes before wiping dry.

I too just purchased this stuff. How many ounces are in one of those little bottles?

I buy it by the gallon, and have never seen the bottles so I can't help there.

I measured three ounces of water in a measuring cup then tried different containers to find a quick system.

Finally I found a scoop from ice tea mix that held just over three ounces. Now I just add one scoop with enough water to make a gallon, and then fill spray bottles as needed.

I can't imagine life without it. I use it for the snake bins and rat and mice tanks.

3 oz per gallon of water? Wow glad you told me. I was told to use 1 part Virosan solution and 2 part water. Woulda made only 3 gallons of disinfectants with 1 gallon of virosan. Thanks!
