Question for introducing condas

TyanoX Sep 30, 2004 07:51 AM

ok i currently have a 1 1/2 year old female yellow who was happily feeding on small rats, and recently aquired a 3 month old female yellow, and they will not eat now, either of them now that they are in the same cage, any advice, should i try separating them, ive put the newest one into a rubbermaid cage when feeding and neither will eat, however, they seem to get along quite well together they curl up in their HUGE water dish, as well as in their hide. any advice would be appreciated

I would separate them. If the only difference was introducing them...it makes sense that would be the first thing to try doesnt it?

Also..it may look like they don't mind each other but how do you know what an anaconda does when stressed. Maybe it is writting about it every night in it's diary. Then finally it gets so mad it just kills the other snake. maybe you should have your snake talk to a professional about the issue before you assume they get along. It may seem like I get along with some of my roomates but I really try and avoid them because they play guitar and are anoying...we walk by each other with no punches but thats because we have to see each other again.
