which ghost to get???????

joshhutto Sep 30, 2004 10:04 AM

I've been thinking about getting into a ghost project and finally made my mind up, I have to get some. The only thing is you don't see many adult pics around. I've seen some great orange ghost babies but very few good looking adults. I've also seen some truly breath taking yellow ghost sub adults. And some of the best looking i've seen were butterscotch sub adults. What does everyone else think the best ghost line is? By itself and mixing with other morphs. If anyone has some pics of their ghost as a baby and now all grown up I would be very appreciative. I will buying at the tampa show in a couple days and any advice will be greatly needed. Thanks in advance, Josh Hutto

George Knaack (GLKHerp)just posted pics of the butterscotch, yellow, and one other line I forgot already. I personally like the yellow ghosts and it is the smallest investment of the ghosts. I do not have any ghosts but from seeing his yellow from hatchling babies and it is almost ready to breed now I would have to say it looked great the entire way through.

One the left is an Orange (around 800g) from B.H.B. Enterprises, middle is a Butterscotch (around 1000g) from Bradford Cole, and on the right is a wild caught yellow (around 500g) from Ozzybiods.

I had a choice between two individuals when purchasing this guy. I picked green over orange, and I am pretty happy about him!

I would suggest the butterscotch or the orange if you like color. But just like most morphs you should see the parent(s) before you buy, it's not a guarantee but it does give you an idea of what to expect.

Good luck with your decision!

This is my baby orange ghost, "Pyro".
