Building A CAGE!

Well I have posted ounce but I seemed to get no answers so anyways I have a Collard Lizard and I am looking to build a Enclosure made out of wood or something in that direction.And it will be equal to a 55 Gallon (48x12x21)And I am looking to put the lights in the enclosure and i was wondering about smell how do you get rid of that in a Tank or enclosure.And could someone give me Ideas or kind of bluprints or directions and stuff.I also want to possibly build legs on it possibly But Any replys will be helpful

Keep it clean! That's the only way I've found to keep my burms cage from smelling. I gotta do something to it almost every day.

As for a cage, with the size you're talking I would simply make a box out of 3/4" plywood. Use a 1x1 in the corners if you feel it doesn't have enough support and cut the front to your liking for viewing. Use an exterior grade paint for the inside and stain or paint the outside. As for legs, I'd buy an iron aquarium stand and make the cage bottom to match the shape of the stand. It's allot easier and will look alright. I've never had a beardie so I don't know what they need for heat, vent, humid etc.
