Reptile Vitamins

sydtpolk Sep 30, 2004 02:16 PM

A friend of mine just gave me some reptile vitamins(ZOO MEDS REPTIVITE). I was wondering IF and HOW to use these vitamins. It's a powder form and says to dust the food, but it's talking about crickets not pinkies. What do you think?

If you are feeding your snake whole rodents, I don't see a reason to supplement.

I tried something similar, reptocol i think, and read snakes don't need extra vitamins if they are eating whole rodent prey. so i stopped using it. my snakes all seem fine. i do dust crickets for my anoles, however.
