There are already a number of questionable hatchlings that I have seen offered for sale that were clearly hybrids.

Hi,

What made you believe the hatchlings were clearly hybridized?

The hatchlings and other young captive born Staurotypus that I have seen that I thought were hybrids had both a black and white marbled head but also an orange nose. Others had the small orange specks of a salvinii but then also had black and white marbling on their heads too.
It is hard to describe really, but when you see them there is no doubt.
